Peplink

Overview

The Edge Controller will connect to a Peplink router and extract the following metrics:

You can click on the Launch WebUI button to open the router web interface. It will be proxied via the Edge Controller and a static IP or port forwarding is not required.

If you cick on the Peplink logo it will open the router in Peplink InControl2.

GPS

The Edge Controller can obtain it's GPS position from the Peplink router.

Peplink InControl2 Integration

You can connect your Peplink InControl2 account to your Giraffe Cloud account.

This will allow you to seamlessly jump between the two platforms.

In order to setup the InControl2 integration, please contact the Giraffe support team. It is currently a manual process to link the InControl2 account and add the routers.

Once the routers have been added, a new tab will be visible called Router.

The username and password must be correct in order to allow the Edge Controller to connect to the routers local API.

The metrics for the router are also shown in the graph. These metrics are pulled directly from the routers local API and are not proxied via InControl2.
