Your account is your personal identity on the Giraffe Cloud. Each person only has a single account, even if you are part of multiple teams. An account is always personal to a single person, and should never be shared.
You can manage your account by clicking on your name and clicking on the Profile link.
You can also logout from this menu.
On the General tab, you can change your name as well as configuring your phone number and email address. If you change your email address or phone number, you will be required to verify it.
Your phone number is required for 2 factor authentication.
Your password can be changed on the Password tab:
Please ensure that your password is set to a strong, unique password. We highly recommend you setup 2 factor authentication as well.
2 factor authentication can be enabled on your account. This will increase the security as a potential bad actor will need to know your password as well as having access to a mobile device you own.
At the moment we support SMS based 2FA. In order to onfigure 2FA, you must first verify your phone number on the General tab.
Once you have verified your phone number, you can enable 2FA. The next time you login, you will be prompted to enter a code before you can continue.
If you have a Google / GSuite account, you can login via your Google account. Your email address in the Giraffe Cloud must be the same as your email address used to login to Google or GSuite.
To enable Google / GSuite login, enable it with the toggle below:
You can also login with a Microsoft / Office365 account. Please contact Giraffe support to have this enabled on your account.
